Bloom & Still began in moments I didn’t plan. God met me in the quiet—through grief, through healing, and through unexpected photoshoots that mirrored something I couldn’t yet see in myself.
This space was born out of that stillness. A space that holds beauty, creativity, and a rooted kind of presence. It’s not just a digital magazine or a creative journal—it’s a soft landing place. A home for soulful connection, for real stories, for intentional living, and for God’s presence to be felt in every quiet corner.
I’ve always admired mothers—the way they hold, the way they give, the way they carry so much with such grace. Though I’m not a mother myself, my own mom is my best friend, and I’ve always been drawn to older women, to their wisdom and their stillness. I had a hard time building deep connections with my peers when I was younger, and maybe that’s what formed the old soul in me. I think it’s also what led me here.
This isn’t a nonprofit, and it’s not a marketing platform. Bloom & Still is community-funded and deeply personal. It’s not for everyone—and that’s okay. It’s for those who feel the pull toward a slower, truer way of creating and connecting. Those who want to give and receive from a place of sincerity, not striving.
I’m not trying to be loud here. I’m trying to be faithful.

The River of Roses is the heart of Bloom & Still—a gentle membership that begins online but is deeply rooted in real life. Here, we gather to support, nurture, and inspire one another through in-person meetups and moments of stillness, far from the noise of constant scrolling.
When we’re not together face to face, this space offers a calm place to stay connected without overwhelm—a community that feels like home, not just another screen to check.

While I’m not a mother myself, I’ve been shaped by the spirit of mothering. I grew up drawn to older women, inspired by their strength, creativity, and character — especially my own mom, whose nurturing spirit became a quiet foundation for this work.
